Latasha Lee & The Blackties

What do you get when you mix: retro with motown, throw in a great voice, then add some vintage cool black ties. I call it “good honest soul”. You can call her Latasha Lee, a singer-songwriter from Texas who has effortlessly captured that unique sound Berry Gordy would be proud of. Her influences of the past include Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke and Etta James. Latasha Lee & The Blackties are set to reinvigorate the genre as the late great Amy Winehouse did. So refreshing and so needed in an ordinarily bland R&B landscape.
